ProTeam to Host NCRS Technical Seminar

Once again our friends at ProTeam Corvette Sales will be hosting a NCRS Technical Seminar. This year’s event is coming up on November 9th and the main topic is “How Chevrolet’s Relentless Pursuit of HP Benefited Corvette”. The all-day session is co-sponsored by the Michigan and Heart of Ohio chapters of the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS). NCRS membership isn’t required to attend and the cost is just $20 at the door. That admission fee also includes breakfast and lunch.

Forgiato Wheels has recently shown off a rendering of a widebody C7 Corvette Stingray that the company is building for the SEMA show next month in Las Vegas. The Corvette is being modified by Topo aka the self-proclaimed widebody king. Destino is a Reborn Fisker Karma with Corvette Power

Thanks to some Corvette transfusions and the support of former General Motors’ vice chairman Bob Lutz, the beleaguered Fisker Karma will apparently live on.

Fisker sold about 1,800 Karmas before having to shut down in November 2012 when the company ran out of money and couldn’t make loan payments to the Department of Energy.

VL Automotive, backed by Lutz, plans to use two different Corvette engines to convert 25 unsold Karmas from hybrid power.

Corvette Assembly Plant Named Kentucky Manufacturer of the Year

The new Corvette Stingray has been earning accolades from the press ever since it was unveiled earlier this year.

It’s only natural that the General Motors Assembly Plant in Bowling Green where America’s Sports Car has been built since 1981 would share in that glory, too.

Earlier this month the Bowling Green Assembly Plant was named Manufacturer of the Year by the Kentucky Association for Manufacturers (KAM) at the 2013 KAM Manufacturer and Employee of the Year Awards ceremony.

[ACCIDENT] C5 Corvette Driver Goes Off the Side of the Road in Malibu

The driver of this C5 Corvette Convertible is very lucky after surviving a crash off of Muholland Highway near Malibu, CA.
