Carlisle Events turns 50 this year. Over that time, they’ve created an impressive portfolio of events in the hills of eastern Pennsylvania. One of their more recent additions, Carlisle Auctions, is queued up for their next sale on April 18th and 19th as part of the annual Spring Carlisle event.

The two-day sale will take place at the Carlisle Expo Center which is adjacent to the sprawling Carlisle Fairgrounds campus and the auction action begins daily at 12 Noon. More than 400 vehicles are expected with nearly 250 already consigned. Of those, we already see 16 Corvettes seeking new homes. The early Corvette docket currently features one car from each of the eight generations, and we expect many more to be added as the event draws nearer. Here’s how the offerings break down:

Corvettes offered by generation

The diverse docket of Corvettes ranges from great drivers like a lightly modified 1956 convertible to a restored 1966 small block convertible. Later model fans will want to check out the white 2019 Grand Sport convertible or the triple black 2004 convertible.

Here’s a closer look at our four favorite Corvettes crossing the block next week in Carlisle.

1953 Polo White / Red Roadster #98

1953 Polo White / Red Roadster #98

The 98th Corvette ever built has undergone an extensive frame off restoration. The 1-of-300 Polo White over red roadster still retains its original VIN tag, body, and frame, in addition to the numbers matching Blue Flame 6 engine. According to the listing, the car features exceptional paint and stainless steel. It goes on to state that the chrome is show quality. The brand-new red interior was professionally installed and includes the original, restored gauges and radio.

1966 Nassau Blue / Blue Big Block Coupe

TITLE

This 1966 Sting Ray Sport Coupe is fresh off a comprehensive body off restoration. It remained with the original owner until 2021. Power comes from a 427/390hp engine dressed to mimic its 425hp big brother. The engine is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end. The exterior is finished in handsome Nassau Blue paint over the coordinating blue vinyl interior. Other installed options include gold line tires, side exhaust, and a teakwood steering wheel. The car is extensively documented including the original order sheet, bill of sale, loan documents, window sticker, and more.

1957 Venetian Red / Biege Convertible

Lot 528.1 is finished in the timeless combination of Venetian Red over beige coves and interior. This classic C1 has been frame off restored to nearly new condition. Power is supplied by the 270hp variant of the venerable 283CI engine that is matched to a 4-speed manual transmission. The car shows 58,700 miles on the odometer and comes with a body-colored hardtop.

2023 Hypersonic Gray / Red Stingray Hardtop Convertible

TITLE

2023 was the 4th model year for the C8 generation and Chevrolet produced a whopping 53,785 cars during the model year run. Of those, nearly half were convertibles. This nearly new 2023 Corvette Stingray Convertible is finished in striking Hypersonic Gray over the red dipped interior and shows just 18 miles on the odometer. It’s loaded up with options including the 3LT equipment group, Z51 performance package, magnetic ride control, and 20 spoke bright face wheels. The sticker price when new was over $95,775.
