One of the most successful endurance racing Corvettes ever authorized for construction by General Motors can be yours for $220,000.

The 2009 Callaway C6 being offered on racecarsdirect.com was one of five special “Experimental VIN” cars approved by GM to be built on the Bowling Green assembly line and then converted by Callaway Competition (Germany) into FIA GT4 homologated race cars under exclusive GM authority.

These five Corvettes were the first such race cars authorized by GM since the five 1963 Grand Sport Corvettes were built.

This Callaway C6 – known as 19EX – is the last of the five GT4 Corvettes built and also has the distinction of being the last “three-pedal” manual Corvette built by GM specifically for racing.

And race, 19EX did!

After running as a GT4 Corvette in the 2009 FIA GT4 European Cup season including races at the Spa-Francorchamps, Zolder, and Oschersleben, the car was converted in 2010 to GT3 endurance racing specs with upgrades like GT3 bodywork (Callaway carbon fiber hood, fenders, doors, and rear wing) and paddle shift transmission.

Once the conversion was completed, 19EX would go on to become one of the most successful endurance racing Corvettes ever authorized by GM for construction, capturing eight endurance race class wins and 14 podiums over four years (2010-13).

Highlights include:

• 2010 – 3rd Place GT4 class- 24 Hours of Nurburgring
• 2011 – 2nd Place SP8 class- 24 Hours of Nurburgring
• 2012 – 1st Place SP2 class- 24 Hours of Barcelona
• 2013 – 2nd Place SP2 class- 24 Hours of Dubai
• 2013 – 1st Place SP8 class- 24 Hours of Nurburgring

19EX – complete with a 550-horsepower LS3 motor connected to a six-speed Hewland sequential paddle shift transmission – was imported back into the United States in the summer of 2022 and is now located in Sebring, Fla.

The car has undergone an extensive service to get ready for the sale, including new brake pads, rotors, master cylinder, fluids, oils, and setups, and is said to be race ready now. A spare set of four OZ wheels is included, too.
