[VIDEO] More Quarter Mile Action with the All New 2024 Corvette E-Ray

Andrew at Complete Street Performance got their 2024 Corvette E-Ray and before he throws any mods on it, he takes the car to the track for some baseline quarter mile pulls. The car was literally broken in on the way to the track, and it crossed the 500 mile threshold just before they arrived.

Andrew’s first run is a lesson for anyone who it interested in the E-Ray. He says it felt like it was going nowhere, and his time slip confirms he ran 11.5 seconds at 120 MPH. It’s on the way back to the track he realizes he had it in Charge+ mode which actually slowed him down due to the system creating a bit of drag to recharge the batteries. His second run was much better, but he still ran slower than expected with a run of 11.0 at 127 mph.

After leaving the track, he’s still trying to figure out how to launch and so he takes another shot at it, playing with the various modes and even attempting the quick launch through the paddles. However, the other difference here is that he is running in the late afternoon and therefore track conditions are different than before. On that first run he gets a 10.658 second run at 126.14 MPH and he’s very happy with that number. As for the other attempts, he was better off using the launch control and his final run he ran a 10.9 second quarter mile at 126 mph.

Now that he has some quarter mile base runs under his belt, the plan is to add a twin-turbo system and then go compete for the current E-Ray twin-turbo record held by Boost District, who recently ran 9.741 at 152.99 MPH.
