[VIDEO] Senior Owner has his C7 Z06 Corvette Upgraded to 800-hp at Late Model Racecraft

“Get in, sit down, & shut up.”

Words of advice from a gray-haired gentleman from Ohio by the name of Mr. Kaiser who’s the proud owner of this Torch Red C7 Z06 coupe.

Just because you’ve got a little silver showing on the outside doesn’t mean you still don’t like to go for the gold, so Mr. Kaiser drove some 1,267 miles from Oberlin, Ohio to Houston Texas to have the boys at Late Model Racecraft install their 800 horsepower package under the already-customized hood where his words of advice are prominently posted.

LMR boss Steven takes us on a tour under that fancy hood in a recent YouTube video, explaining that Mr. Kaiser has owned Camaros and race cars in the past but just takes his 19,000-mile Z06 out for kicks on the weekend.

No doubt those joy rides will be much more enjoyable now that the car has been outfitted with LMR’s 1.7-liter supercharger, upping the stock Z06’s 650 horsepower considerably to the aforementioned 800. While the factory car can turn a 3.0-second time from 0 to 60 with a top speed of 207 mph, we’re not told what it can do now, though it’s sure to be quite a bit better.

Don’t miss the video shots of the impressive build process, as well as Steven’s test drives before and after Mr. Kaiser’s arrival to pick up his new and improved pride and joy. The smile on Mr. Kaiser’s face tells the story on a full-throttle run!

By the way, this isn’t the finished product. Indeed, Mr. Kaiser’s already planning to make another run to Texas at the end of the year to let LMR install a Magnussen supercharger and make some fuel system mods that should bump him all the way to 1,000 horsepower.

As he tells Steven, “Damn, Christmas is a long way away, man!”
