[ACCIDENT] Chief's WR Rashee Rice Admits to Involvement in the Lamborghini-Corvette Crash in Dallas

TMZ Sports is reporting that Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rasheed Rice admits he was involved in the multiple-car crash involving his Corvette Stingray and a leased Lamborghini Urus on a Dallas, Texas freeway on Saturday.

According to TMZ Sports, shortly after the crash, Rice texted the company that owns the Lamborghini – Classic Lifestyle – and promised to pay for the totaled supercar.

TMZ Sports also posted a couple of videos, including one from a dashcam that appears to show the Lambo and Corvette racing when they come upon a small SUV in the left lane. The Lambo hits the SUV in the rear, starting a chain reaction that involves the Stingray and then three more vehicles. Another post-crash video then shows a group of men who had exited from the Corvette and Lambo walking in the emergency lane, with one of the men answering “yeah, my chest” in response to a question about his condition from an off-camera voice. As the voice asks, “where you guys heading?” there is no response. Later he asks another group of four people walking past in the same lane if they’re okay, to which one says, “yeah, but we gotta get up there” as they continue past. A follow-up question of “You guys just gonna leave it?” seems to fall on deaf ears.

Classic Lifestyle attorney Kyle Coker tells TMZ Sports that Rice was in the Lambo when the crash happened and was the only person allowed to drive the car per the leasing agreement. Coker says Rice was paying $1,749 a day to lease the 2021 matte black Lambo SUV.

TMZ Sports says they were told that one of Rice’s friends was driving the Corvette, which is owned by Rice and appears to have suffered major damage to the front end, based on photos from the scene.

Hours before the crash, Rice and his friends had been seen celebrating at a bar/restaurant named Local Tap & Table, according to TMZ Sports.

We likely haven’t heard the last of this mishap, though fortunately no one was seriously injured. For his part, Rice is said to be cooperating with Dallas police and “will take all necessary steps to address this situation responsibly,” according to his attorney. The NFL and the Chiefs are also investigating.

  1. Entitled idiots being idiots! Hope those injured innocents get a real nice settlement. Hit their bank accounts hard!

  2. Speeding, On Street Racing, Hit and Run, Leaving the Scene of an Accident and other Charges may be addressed on the Individuals involved. I wonder how the Attorneys will get them off Free of any charges.

  3. So, cooperating with the police = talking with them several days after a hit and run and not going to jail? Which card do you need to play in order to get that kind of deal? (Rhetorical question)

  4. We will see what the Chiefs do. Any normal person would already be locked up. No doubt he needed the time to sober up. This is ridiculous.
