Here’s a cool modded Corvette looking for a new home. Check out this 2002 Corvette that’s had a 1969 Camaro body fit over its C5 chassis. This unique ride is currently running on Bring a Trailer with bidding at $30,333 and 2 days remaining.
According to the listing, the donor Corvette and Camaro were acquired in 2013 and 2014 and the whole project wrapped earlier this year. Today, the car retains its C5 345hp LS1, 6-speed manual transmission, suspension, brakes, wheels, and dashboard.
Upgraded components include Ridetech rear coilover shocks, a Camaro-spec fuel tank, an aftermarket stereo, power windows and locks, keyless entry, and air conditioning. With all that Corvette DNA underneath, it’s titled as a 1969 Camaro.
To accommodate this Chevrolet mashup, the Camaro body was shortened to match the C5’s dimensions. Fabrication required extensive modifications to the firewall, quarter panels, trunk lid, and more.
The car is finished in House of Kolor’s Brandywine paint. Other custom exterior features include an integrated rear spoiler, Ring Brothers side mirror, and side-exit exhaust. Polished C5 five-spoke wheels wear 235/40 R17 tires up front and 255/40 R18 out back.
Inside, the stock interior was massaged to accept the Carmaro body. The dash, seats, door panels, and other components were re-trimmed in brown with black accents to complement the Brandywine paint. The seats feature diamond-stitched accents. Sound deadening material lurks under the stylish interior to reduce interior noise while driving.
The rear seat was omitted in keeping with the Corvette’s heritage.
Like most projects, the seller is still sorting some things out. They note that the fuel gauge works intermittently.
The BaT listing contains photos, notes, and receipts from throughout the build process. These are always a neat look into how these extensive builds evolve. Additionally, binders with various documentation and records from the project are included in the sale.

Why?
I think it looks pretty cool, the awesome style of a 69 Camaro with the handling and performance of a more modern Corvette.
That interior has to be the ugliest you could put inside a Brandywine HOK paint job. It screams ruin a pretty nice vehicle.
next project………install a chevy Vega body on a Rolls Silver Cloud chassis!!!!!!
