Corvette ZR-1 Caught on Video!

by Keith Cornett on September 20, 2007

FastLaneDaily.com is the first to capture the new supercharged Corvette ZR-1/Blue Devil/SS on video. The 2 minute YouTube clip shows the supercar undergoing road testing somewhere in Colorado. At the end of the video, we finally hear the exhaust that everyone who has ever seen this car in person talks about.

Vettes and Jets on the Lex

by Keith Cornett on September 20, 2007

A couple guys from my Corvette Club (Tampa Bay Vettes) made the 1,100 mile trek from Tampa, Florida to Corpus Christi, Texas to take part in Vettes and Jets on the Lex last weekend and luckily for us they set up a temporary blog so we can follow their adventures. If you’ve never seen 300 Corvettes on an aircraft carrier, it is a site to behold. According to the local paper, the event broke a record for most cars on an aircraft carrier and raised almost $60,000 for the Wounded Warriors Project and United Service Organizations of South Texas. After this event, Richard and Wes are heading north to Effingham, Illinois for Mid America Motorworks annual Fun Fest.

Spy Photos: The 2009 Corvette ZR-1/SS/Blue Devil

by Keith Cornett on September 19, 2007

Appearing to stand still while spy photographer Brenda Priddy shoots away, the new Corvette ZR-1 appears to be sporting not only a carbon fiber roof, but carbon fiber A & B pillars as well. What really stands out in my mind is the huge ceramic brakes with cross-drilled rotors and a large set of calipers.
