Corvettes for Sale: Chassis 007 Corvette C5-R GT1 Race Car

A Luxembourg-based company specializing in the exotic car market has a rare C5-R Corvette for sale.

The price is not listed on the Art & Revs listing for this C5-R, but we’re sure it’s not going to be cheap.

After all, it’s one of just 11 such GT1 Corvettes (plus one test car) built by Pratt & Miller from 1999 to 2004 under ACO LM-GTS / FIA GT1 regulations. They were known for being the best handling GT1 cars.

This yellow and black example is Chassis 007, built in 2002. It was the first Pratt & Miller Corvette C5-R not built for Corvette Racing, but instead was originally intended to be a promotional vehicle for a UK-based female pop band called Atomic Kitten.

When the band didn’t pay for the car, Pratt & Miller eventually was able to sell it to Patrick Selleslagh, owner of SRT Racing in Belgium, to compete in the 2003 Belcar series. This began a long relationship between SRT Racing and Corvette Racing as future Pratt & Miller Corvette Race cars were purchased by SRT Racing. C5R-007 competed from 2003 to 2007 with SRT Racing before being sold to Alexander Talkanista of AT Racing for the 2008 FIA GT series.

Art & Revs took on a master ground up restoration of the car between 2016-2019 and says interested parties can find out more about the car by contacting the Art & Revs sales department.
