The C4 generation entered its 4th year of production in 1987. Model year enhancements included a modest 5hp bump in power, the addition of the Z52 suspension, and most notably the Callaway Twin Turbo BZK option.
Ironically, this matte black 1987 C4 currently listed on Facebook Marketplace has none of those new-for-1987 features. This owner chose to find a new, higher road.
The brief ad doesn’t tell us much, but we do know that the car is now sitting on a 1987 Blazer frame. That frame rests on 41-inch-tall tires that are mounted on 20-inch wheels. The seller notes that a smaller set of wheels and tires come with the car so it can be towed.
A 1987 Camaro donated its potent 305ci engine to power this beast albeit with some assembly required. The listing states that you’ll need to install the water pump, alternator, and harmonic balancer. Plan to work on the front pulleys as well.
Other than that, we don’t know too much about this 4×4 Corvette. We did note what appears to be household HVAC vent cover residing where the license plate once lived.
If you’re interested parking this Corvette in your garage, it’ll cost you the $10,000 asking price or the seller will also accept your flatbed tow truck in trade.

I only hate that this appears to be modified to not be road legal. I would prefer the headlights and everything to be 100% functional. Best of all worlds.
