Well, well, well. What a day it has been for revelations!
We are glad to hear that Chevrolet has communicated some pertinent information to their dealers on the end of the 2024 model year and the start up of Corvette’s 2025 ordering and production.
A big thanks to our friend Rick ‘Corvette’ Conti for sharing this info. I don’t really understand why the Corvette Team wasn’t able to share this info at the NCM Bash, only for it to come out two weeks later. For those planning on buying a new Corvette, or those who have been on a list for a 2024, these customers need to know these specific dates so that they can better plan for it. Anyways, thanks again to Rick for the info.
The last date for ordering a 2024 Corvette is May 28th and the last day of 2024 production is scheduled for July 12th. It appears that there are just two order cycles left for the model year as well. There will be a May Cycle 2 and June Cycle 1, and then the June Cycle 2 ordering is for the 2025s.
The 2025 model year is scheduled to start on Monday, July 15th. Dealers can begin to add preliminary orders to the order system (status 1100) on July 9th. (Rick says there is some conflicting dates in his info, and this doesn’t align with there being a second June order cycle for the 2025s. Stay tuned on this important date.) The 2025 Corvette Order Guide is expected to drop on Monday, June 10th.
Rick also confirms that Chevrolet is canceling these seven exterior colors:
Amplify Orange
Accelerate Yellow
Silver Flare
Hypersonic Gray
Carbon Flash Metallic
Ceramic Matrix Gray
Cacti

How about bringing back some retro colors like Nassau Blue, Night Race Blue, and Glen Green to add to the mix?
Right Chazoo, there are a lot of past colors that would look great on the C8. Also, some more modern colors like, Atomic orange, Daytona sunset, etc.
Thus proving that the E-Ray crowd is hosed if you wanted 2024 color selection; GM can’t figure out how to increase production for anything. I can’t wait until the ZR1 debuts to GM cancelling 7 colors and leaving 3 choices; Torch Red, Black and White.
