[STOLEN] 2024 Corvette is Stolen During Brazen Dealership Raid

Watch this video that captures a trio of daring car burglars in action in color and black-and-white from several different angles at a Gettysburg, Pennsylvania Chevy dealership during the night of April 26.

The thieves twice used a new SUV as a battering ram to break into Renn Kirby Chevrolet in Adams County, then ran and jumped into the driver’s seats of a silver 2024 Corvette Stingray and a yellow 2018 Camaro ZL1 convertible before making their getaway through the openings they’d just created.

The video shows the SUV backing up and pulling forward repeatedly as it eventually breaks through the showroom glass, then finally reverses direction to allow access to the parking lot, with one suspect even using his arm to direct the Camaro driver safely out of the building. To get that SUV out of the way of the Camaro, the driver at first tries to maneuver carefully, then seems to give up and just strikes the rear quarter panel of another SUV outside in the way. Both of the SUVs were eventually left behind, along with a Silverado pickup that was parked in the showroom next to the ZL1.

Fortunately, police were able to track down the missing Corvette, likely due to the OnStar system, but the Camaro is still gone.

  1. Nothing to worry about, folks. Just a couple of aspiring physicists needing transportation back to the dorms….

I’d add more commentary, but I’ll just leave this at that.

  2. Here’s a suggestion, all new Corvettes, Camaros and trucks sitting on dealer lots have all of the gasoline drained out after they are unloaded from the transporter, then the car sits in the parking spot and runs until it quits with no more gas. Then these idiots would need a flatbed to steal the Corvettes and Camaros and trucks sitting on the dealer lots.
Or as the dealers do out here in the west, install big heavy gates and fencing around the lots.
Or have the cars start up with a key that goes into the ignition and the door to unlock the car. Remember back to those days?
It’s a shame another new Corvette is messed up!

  3. How did they get the keys for all of these cars? Why weren’t the keys in a locked cabinet or safe after hours?

  4. More of this coming with all the illegals coming over the border. Many are criminals let loose by their country. Notice the increase in scams? Go to another third world country and you see it more in the open. It’s just not”picture pretty lady?” anymore.

  5. Don’t be Ignorant Political Idiots! It’s obvious our/your precious Corvettes are a HOT commodity these days! Has nothing to do with the DAMN Border!!! It should make you/us proud that VETTES are on the most wanted list! Now what truly bothers me, is it appears they were able to start those vehicles right up as if they had the key fobs? It should have been much MUCH harder to gain such quick access! I smell a Bowtie Mole!!
