When in comes to selling Corvettes in Europe, General Motors relies on a distributor named AEC Specialty Vehicles (AECSV) which has the exclusive distribution rights for selling the Corvette Stingray and Z06 in key European markets along with other GM products. Today, we came across a press release with AECSV detailing the starting MSRP for the 2024 Corvette Stingrays and Z06s for the markets in which they distribute.
European Corvette buyers don’t get to order off the full menu like customers can do here in the States, but both the Stingray and Z06 are available as either a Coupe and Convertible model, with the biggest difference being that the Stingray is only available in just 2LT and 3LT while the Z06 is only available in 3LZ.
We also found that four colors are considered standard (Black, Arctic White, Torch Red, and Cacti) while all others are available for an additional price. Other than those minor inconveniences, it appears that most of the equipment offered can be ordered by European buyers including options like Front Lift, Magnetic Ride Control, and both the Z51 and Z07 Performance Packages.

As for pricing, the 2LT Stingray Coupe will start at €92,429 ($101,047 USD) and €159,655 (174,542 USD) for the 3LZ Z06 Coupe. Buyers will also receive a 36-month/100,000-km GM Europe Factory Warranty, Certificate of Conformity (CoC), and AECSV Roadside Assistance in selected countries.
AECSV also offers a downloadable PDF brochure containing pricing and all the available options for the Stingray and Z06.
Europe is the second largest export market for the C8 Corvette with 2,195 units exports during the 2023 model year. That breaks down to 2,153 Stingrays and 42 Z06s. The top selling model is the Stingray Convertible with 1,249 units exported last year.

I want to give some insights to this topic. Until last year Chevrolet Europe sold the european Corvette by themselves. But Chevrolet Europe suddenly decided they don’t want to that anymore, so they cancelled all dealer contract and there was no way for order new european Corvettes. It took about a year and tons of rumors if Chevy will continue selling the C8 and bring the Z06 to us here, before they finally officially announced that AEC (who is known for importing Dodge models to Europe) is now taking care of importing the european Corvettes and dealers made contracts with AEC.
It’s pretty safe to say that european customers were not happy with that, because the pricing through AEC has raised again. The 2LT EU base here in Germany already raised from 86,900€ to 103k€ within 1.5 years, the new price through AEC is 109,990€. Getting really expensive to get a C8 here
Chevrolet came out with the C8 and it was definitely a step in the right direction, but the ungainly looking backside with a “golf bag” trunk deviated from a true sports car. The Z06 put the exhaust back in the middle and made it look a bit better and no longer a deal breaker for me. But the dealer markups and the overall BS to get one was just too much for me. They almost had me, but in the end I have to go with what I always wanted anyway, the Porsche 911. I’m not opposed to still getting one one down the road, but Chevrolet dealers and private speculators have made it a no-go for me because I don’t believe in paying MSRP, much less 10 to 30 percent more. That only ends up in buyer’s remorse.
