Although Thursday is the official kick-off day for the Corvette Museum’s NCM Bash Event, those in attendance at the Museum on Wednesday saw a Reliable autotransporter arrive and drop off four special Corvettes. The E-Rays have arrived!

Thankfully, Chevy brought three E-Rays wearing the new exterior colors for 2024. They include Riptide Blue, Cacti, and Seawolf Gray Metallic. The fourth car was the E-Ray cutaway chassis which gives us a better understanding of how Chevy packaged its 160-hp front drive motor and the 1.9 kWh battery pack in the center tunnel.

All three of the new colors are better looking in person than what we’ve seen online, and we’ve heard some positive comments about the Cacti color, which is enhanced in our opinion with the Carbon Flash black Nacelles and side intake trim. This Corvette was also featuring the new 3LZ Artemis interior that looks very premium as well.

Riptide Blue appears to be the crowd favorite, and it looks great with the Sky Cool Gray interior and Blue Seatbelts. The last time we saw this car, it crossed the auction block at Barrett-Jackson, where it sold to Rick Hendrick for $1.15 Million.

Seawolf gray will be right at home with those gray exteriors known as battleship colors, but there is a surprisingly large amount of metallic flakes in the paint.

We also saw three forged aluminum wheel designs and the E-Ray badges in both Chrome and Carbon Flash. Check out the photos below; we’ll bring you more throughout the event.

Check out the photo gallery below and let us know what you think of these new exteriors.

  1. RE: Colors, That Blue is typically beautiful on a Corvette, the Cacti reminds me of a C2 color, Seafoam Green, the Gray, all it needs is an anchor & U.S.N. on the doors. Seriously tho they are all very nice colors and that Gray & that Blue looks very nice without the Black slingshot, (side intake trim) .

  2. I’d have a hard time with the Cacti color. Just doesn’t seem right. Maybe if it had more gray in it?

  3. I’ve seen the Rip Tide Blue, which is very awesome! Reminds me of when I first saw LeMans Blue on a ’68 Sting Ray.

  4. Is the black trim going to be offered or no? We only see it on that Cacti color car that moves around for display. Why couldn’t the E-Ray have center exhaust?
