Chevrolet opened up the order bank today for the 2nd ordering cycle of the 2027 Corvette model year. The good news is that we do now have Pitch Gray Metallic for this go around as Chevy continues its ramp up with the other new color for 2027, Admiral Blue.
Speaking of Admiral Blue, Chevrolet has expanded to all models now for which you can order the new color. Last month there were 66 units available, and they were strictly dedicated to Grand Sports. Now it looks like these quantities are coming up which is good news.
For some positive news, we do appear to have some limited availability for the J59 brakes from Alcon. I had heard they may have been around 20 sets or so available nationally. Hopefully, this will be the end to the logjam for ZR1 buyers to order the elusive ZTK Performance Package.
Another positive aspect we see this week is the inclusion of the ZR1X on these internal dealer constraint lists. This development appears to show that Chevrolet is ready for the ZR1X model to be allocated and ordered using the same procedures as the other Corvette models instead of the direct (and super-secret) ordering system that was used during the 2026 model year.
We do have a head scratcher for this order cycle and that is the B6P Coupe Engine Appearance Packages which are on constraint. These include the carbon fiber closeout panels and they are very limited.
Here’s the constraints by model:

So for the ZR1 and ZR1X, you can’t get it without the TOM option, and it is limited with the TOM option? Wouldn’t that mean all ZR1 or ZR1X models are limited by constraints?
When will pricing and configurator be live. I want to see what I’m building before I head to the dealer. They said mid April?
