I was on the 2024 Corvette Visualizer this past Saturday evening and was working on E-Ray build #67 (tentatively titled “Black Betty”) when I saw that Chevrolet made some changes to the available options for the car.

With the E-Ray’s badge being Blue, I have been color-matching other blue options on certain builds where it makes sense. This particular build that I was working on was Carbon Flash Metallic, and I was going to add the Corvette letters on the rear in Elkhart Lake Blue, as well as the Blue seatbelts, and maybe an Electric Blue racing stripe.

Going to Exterior tab, I found that Chevrolet had removed the “Elkhart Lake Blue” Corvette letters for the rear and the new option that was added in its place featured Corvette letters in Edge Red. Chevrolet already has Torch Red letters for the rear, and buyers can also select the optional Arctic White letters, as well as Chrome or Black. We were questioning whether or not the Elkhart Lake Blue Corvette Letters would be updated to Riptide following Elkhart Lake Blue’s demise at the end of the model year, so perhaps now we have our answer.

The other changes we see on the visualizer include the much welcome return of the Engine Appearance Package, and Chevrolet has also added the visible carbon fiber engine bow with the Jake logo under the exterior tab as well.

The last change we noted with the E-Ray visualizer happened in mid-March with the automaker adding the full Gloss Black aluminum wheels to the available wheel options. One option we haven’t seen yet are the Satin Black Wheels with Blue Stripe, a design that was shown during the much-publicized E-Ray visualizer leak that occurred last December.

With the NCM Bash happening later this week, we are hoping to find out more about the 2024 Corvette E-Ray. Stay tuned!

  1. The visualizer still has one glitch. I was playing with different stripes on a red mist. Then selected the Jake stripe. It inserts the Jake stripe OK on the hood, but doesn’t remove all of the original stripe and the part of the front bumper remains!
