[PIC] 2024 Corvette E-RAY Rendering

We agree with General Motors that the Visualizer is not the ideal way to reveal a new Corvette design, and so our friends at the MidEngineCorvetteForum.com have offered us this new 2024 Corvette E-Ray rendering which brings many of the details of the car into sharper focus. The rendering was performed by Peter Chilelli of Fast Pixels.

Peter did take a few artistic liberties with the car by adding an aggressive front splitter and improving the E-Ray’s “Starfish” wheels with thicker spokes as well as offering a red line around the wheel’s rim instead of the blue. But all in all, it does help one to visualize the new E-Ray better.

  1. They need to clean that front end up. Looks too busy…what’s the deal with all that extra junk?

  2. The main thing Im NOT liking about the Eray is the massive amount of weight added by the hybrid system. Its already a porker at 3700+ for the Z06 with all fluids no Z07 pack. The Volt battery pack weights 403 pounds alone, not counting the single or dual motors that will be added and extra weight for regen brakes. say the battery is 300#, that makes it 4000 pounds before motors.
Dont say its a sports car, its a fast heavy GT car.

  3. The rendering’s wheels are better than the actual flimsy looking ones. It will be real unfortunate if all the trim, that was carbon flash on the Z06 and Stingray, is not to be had as an option in a contrasting color…like carbon flash. The aftermarket will be busy correcting the mistake. Yes, it will be heavy but will be Corvette’s introduction to the world of EV’s whether you like it or not.
