New Low-Profile Spoiler Coming to the 2022 Corvette Stingray
Today at the National Corvette Museum’s Bash Event, a virtual presentation from the Corvette Team included Executive Corvette Chief Engineer Tadge Juchter, Product Manager Harlan Charles, and also Corvette Chief Engineer Josh Holder who went through a recap of all the news from 2021 before turning their sights on the 2022 model year. However, their only new offering that was shown for the 2022 Corvette in addition to the three new exterior colors introduced on Thursday was a new low-profile spoiler for the 2022 Stingray.

The National Corvette Museum’s Bash Event kicked off on Thursday and one of the featured speakers was Corvette Assembly Plant Director Kai Spande. Kai’s updates are always informative and offers enthusiasts some idea of what’s happening on the production side of America’s favorite sportscar.
[PICS] The Three New Colors for the 2022 Corvette Are Officially Revealed at the NCM Bash
During the National Corvette Museum’s Bash Event this afternoon, Plant Director Kai Spande and Paint and Body Manager Chuck Valentini brought over three body panels to officially unveil the new exterior colors for the 2022 Corvette.
As was revealed earlier this year and confirmed as these digital paint samples, the three new colors are indeed called Hypersonic Gray, Caffeine, and Amplify Orange.
The panels shown were painted at the plant utilizing their latest processes to complete. These are all very fresh, as Chuck says the Caffeine panel was completed just two days ago.

Per Kyle Trendel of Trendel Lumber of Ottawa, Kansas, Dimensional 2x4s and 2x6s are up 315% since April of 2020, studs are up 310%, Oriented Strand Board is up an astonishing 510%, and half and three-quarter-inch plywood is up 400% year over year.

National Corvette Museum Dedicates the Wendell Strode Club Room
When he became executive director of the National Corvette Museum in late 1996, Wendell Strode had never even driven a Corvette and had only ridden in one once.
Over the next 23 years, Strode led the Museum back to firm financial ground, even if the literal ground under part of the facility did literally cave in back in 2014!
