There’s no denying how great Torch Red looks on the sharp lines and contrasting trim of the C8 Corvette. But that’s not just me saying that. It’s those new and soon-to-be new owners of the 2021 Corvette who have spoken.

Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

Mike was in Bowling Green for a few days last week for the National Corvette Museum’s Bash Event and we think this trip will be on his personal highlight reel after receiving some great recognition from BGAP Plant Director Kai Spande, as well as getting in a round of golf with Corvette Exterior Design Manager Kirk Bennion and Corvette Racing’s Doug Fehan! Mike has some great photos from the event and make sure you check out the video below. We’ve had a love affair with the new C8 Corvette Convertible model ever since we first saw the unveiling of the new model at the Kennedy Space Center in October 2019. With its exotic looks and no trade-offs when compared to the C8 Coupe, the C8 Convertible brings a whole new level of performance and excitement to the drop-top model.

Apparently I am not alone in thinking this. During the National Corvette Museum’s Bash Event this week, we got the first preliminary production numbers for the 2021 model year and convertible sales haven’t been this strong since the 1969 model year!

Today at the National Corvette Museum’s Bash Event, a virtual presentation from the Corvette Team included Executive Corvette Chief Engineer Tadge Juchter, Product Manager Harlan Charles, and also Corvette Chief Engineer Josh Holder who went through a recap of all the news from 2021 before turning their sights on the 2022 model year. However, their only new offering that was shown for the 2022 Corvette in addition to the three new exterior colors introduced on Thursday was a new low-profile spoiler for the 2022 Stingray.
