Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for May 28th

Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

While everyone enjoys this three day weekend and the unofficial kick-off to summer, let’s remember those brave men and women who gave everything and more in the service of their country. God bless you all. Mike’s weekly delivery update is full of great looking Corvettes both new and old. First up are some new C8 Corvettes being delivered and then Mike has another award-winning collection of vintage and throwback photos for your review. ~The Bowling Green Fire Department raffle is here once again and last month the BGFA took delivery of vin 911, a stunning Red Mist Metallic 2023 Corvette coupe. The National Corvette Museum rolled out the Red Carpet for this special delivery. I truly enjoy helping out the community of Bowling Green and I know their 2023 Corvette raffle will be just as big and successful as last year! ~Fantastic 16 minute video of John and Annie Elegant’s 2023 Corvette Z06 Convertible delivery last month at The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. Big shoutout to Jeremy Welborn for his creative artistry in putting this video together. Jeremy does a great job as always and it is super informative.

~~1990 time frame. That’s me appraising a 1958 Corvette for trade in. I was 30 yrs old and the Corvette was 32! Now get this, 20 years later (2010) at Criswell Chevrolet of Gaithersburg, MD…I was on a test drive in a Traverse with a woman who wanted to see if it fit in her local home garage. We pull in and that same 1958 Corvette was in the 2nd bay of their garage!! I told the couple the story and that I had this picture to prove it. They were shocked.

~George and Joyce B. of Frederick, Maryland took delivery today of their very first Corvette and their puppy Asher approved of the new ride. George’s Father owned a 1973 Corvette back in the day which he remembers fondly. George ordered a Red Mist 2023 Corvette Convertible with Sky Cool Gray interior , 2LT pkg, edge red calipers, performance exhaust, machine face sterling silver wheels and more. ~Rich I. of Henderson, Nevada ordered his Rapid Blue 2023 Corvette from me and I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery to a Chevrolet dealership in Phoenix, AZ. Yesterday Rich flew down and took delivery. Last month Rich attended one of my two pizza dinner parties I hosted at Spring Mountain racetrack in Pahrump, NV so we had a chance to meet for the first time.

~Rick and Pam G. Of Olalla, Washington flew in last year and visited Criswell Chevrolet to meet me and even brought their dog, Kosmo! Yesterday they took delivery at their local Chevrolet dealer in Auburn, Washington as I set up their Courtesy delivery on their behalf. What great organizing. Paperwork via Fed Ex was easy. Courtesy delivery was simple and quick. I am completely impressed with the car. The ride, the power, the feel is awesome. The 30 minute drive home in rush hour traffic was a concern in a new “race car”. But it is easy to drive and after about 2 stop lights, I was completely at home. My wife, the co-pilot was surprised at how comfortable it was and would have taken a turn as driver except she wanted to wait until she could figure out the new Vette’s computer. I am happy and thrilled!”

~John P. of Warwick, Rhode Island and I have met at the Corvettes at Carlisle, PA event countless times so the other day he reached out as he viewed on line a 2022 Arctic White Corvette coupe fully loaded and only 5,600 miles. I gave him a sight unseen trade in value on his 2020 Jeep SRT and we made appt for my Friday off to do the paperwork and exchange vehicles. John’s had a dozen plus Corvettes and he was thrilled to be back driving a C8 convertible!

~Everyone’s Corvette friend, Jeremy Welborn of Lawton, Oklahoma flew in last night so he could drive home (1,375 miles) his Fathers (George) new factory ordered 2023 Radiant Red Silverado Crew High Country 4WD with the 3.0 Duramax Turbo-Diesel. Jeremy had a 10am appt and I had him turned around and headed back to Oklahoma in 35 minutes! George has bought a couple Corvettes from me and now this stunning loaded truck. Jeremy has bought his last several Corvettes from me and is in line for the future Corvette Eray.
