And here we are once again to share another stellar weeks’ worth of new Corvette Stingray and Z06 deliveries from Mike Furman. Check out those happy new owners taking delivery of their new rides. Mike had customers picking up their cars at the Maryland dealership, the NCM R8C program, as well as Courtesy deliveries to other Chevy dealers, and a couple new owners opted for direct to driveaway drop-off via autotransporter. Our first Bowling Green Fire Dept. ”Chief 1” Corvette was a success! We have received our 2nd annual car and the raffle is now live! It’s a 2023 2LT in Red Mist. It has black out emblems, edge red engine cover and Aerolarri hurricane wheels! Thank you again to Corvette Furman for the order placed last year! Only 911 tickets will be sold. ~The Corvette has always been “cooler than the other side of the pillow”…The Beach Boys recognized the obvious but were very cool in there own right!

~One of my favorite stories occurred last year and it all happened by chance. Last year Keith, The Corvette Blogger mentioned that Steve Burns from Clarkston, Michigan just bought a 1994 Corvette ZR1 that originally came from Malcolm Konner Chevrolet of Paramus, NJ. He knew that I worked for the Konner Auto group back in the day and that Gary Konner had entrusted me with a huge haul of paperwork, window stickers etc from the 70’s though 1996 when the Konner family sold the dealership. So on a whim I just grabbed one of the books without looking and brought it to The Corvettes at Carlisle event this past August. Keith and Steve walk up and I ask for Steve’s 1994 ZR1 vin number…well I don’t have to tell you that it was like something out of a movie when I pull from my trunk the black binder and I flip the pages and find the original order sheet in Gary Konner’s handwriting along with a ZR1 log of all the ZR1’s that were sold by Konner Chevrolet in 1994. Last week I saw Steve again and asked him to send me some pics of him and his Polo Green 1994 ZR1. Steve’s ZR1 was vin 443 of the 448 built that year! As I always say, “Chance favors the prepared mind” Now let’s see what else I have in the archives!

~Plycar arrives right on time to load up this stunning Accelerate Yellow 2023 Corvette Convertible for its final destination…Barry’s home in Boynton Beach, Florida!

~Saturday~6:45am and like clockwork my first 3 Corvette deliveries are cleaned, filled with gas and ready for the customers ride home.

~James G. of Wylie, Texas factory ordered his Black 2023 Corvette Z51 coupe with Natural interior from me and I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery at his local Chevrolet dealership in Plano, TX. Last week he took delivery and was thrilled from moment.

~Wasif and Shama S. of Oakton, Virginia factory ordered their new Torch Red 2023 Corvette Z51 Convertible with Adrenaline Red interior and today was drive away day! Both were thrilled to take delivery and fun was had by all.

~Mike and Kim M. of Washington Grove, Pennsylvania drove down 3 hours today to take delivery of their very first Corvette. Mike ordered a Black 2023 Corvette convertible with bright red calipers and performance exhaust along with some other goodies. Mike was excited to finally drive his dream!

~David and Joan F. of Quartzsite, Arizona factory ordered from me their new Arctic White 2023 Corvette Z51 Convertible with Natural interior and I had it drop shipped to their local Chevrolet dealership in Phoenix, AZ…1 of 7 Courtesy deliveries to that same dealership this month. Equipment list: 3LT, front lift, magnetic ride, yellow calipers, Z51 and much more.

~Lawrence M. of Huntersville, North Carolina placed his factory order with me for his very first Corvette. Today he drove away in his new Red Mist 2023 Corvette Convertible with two tone Adrenaline red/Black interior. Equipment list: 2LT , GT2 seats, stealth interior, front lift, magnetic ride, black exhaust tips, performance exhaust, and much more!

~Rich C. of Fairfax, Virginia factory ordered from me his very first Corvette and today he took the Metro to Criswell Chevrolet so that he could drive home his Torch Red 2023 Corvette coupe! Equipment: 1LT pkg, splash guards and Torch Red paint.

~Troy M. of Henderson, Nevada factory ordered from me his new Rapid Blue 2023 Corvette Z51 convertible with Black/red interior and I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery in Phoenix, AZ. Equipment list: competition seats, 3LT, front lift, magnetic ride, edge red calipers, red stitching and much more!

~Troy and Tina F. of Carlisle, Pennsylvania Factory ordered from me a Ceramic Matrix Gray metallic 2023 Corvette Z51 Convertible with two tone Sky cool gray/black interior. Scroll through all the pics and fun was had by all including their Champagne toast! Super nice folks that don’t come much finer! Troy and Tina clicked off all the equipment boxes and even had the Criswell service team add the high wing spoiler and ground effects pkg.

~Harry M. Splits time between his Naples, Florida home and his New Jersey home so he had McCollister’s trucking pick up his New 2023 Hypersonic GrayZ06 as they are based near his NJ home. Small world story…I spent a lot of time with Dan McCollister from 1980-1997 as he was into Olds 442’s and Corvettes. I owned 35 442’s and now 24 Corvettes so we had much in common. I lost track of Dan since 1997 and I asked the Truck driver about Dan and he said that Dan passed away 3-4 months ago. Very sad to hear that news but Dan lived a great life and I’m glad we were friends back in the day. Dan owned a 1966 442 and a 1960 Corvette among other vehicles in his collection.

~John R. of Wheeling, West Virginia has bought a few Corvettes from me over the past decade and even has joined me at Spring Mountain a couple of times. Today was his special day at the Corvette Museum as he took delivery of his Ceramic Matrix gray metallic 2023 Corvette coupe with Adrenaline Red dipped interior. Equipment list: 3LT, body color accents, bright red calipers, performance exhaust, red corvette script on rear, and edge red fender hash stripes. Incredible day at the Museum.

The photos are now supplied to me by Fotofx, a company that has been working within the Museum for the past 10+ years and now they have pkgs available for a truly special experience to be captured digitally. I recommend their process the next time you take delivery at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY!

-Eric and Cheryl K. of Simpsonville, South Carolina flew up last night and came in to Criswell Chevrolet this morning for their new Ceramic Matrix Gray 2023 Corvette Convertible…and Cheryl had no idea where they were flying to until getting on the plane and did not know about the new Corvette until last night! Way to keep a secret Eric! Check out the Adrenaline red interior and the sterling silver dual racing stripes! This Corvette is a “Looker”!

~Jeff K. of Silver Spring, Maryland bought his Laguna Blue 2015 Z06 from me and at the same time got on my C8 higher HP list, today he said it was the smartest decision listening to me. He and his son drove off in his new Hypersonic Gray 2023 Corvette Z06 convertible with Black/Red interior and he was excited and happy for his choices! His son got the first drive home!
