~ I received an email today from Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors. She was kind enough to send letters when I reached my 5,000th and 6,000th Corvette delivery and sometime mid-July I will reach the milestone of 7,000 Corvette deliveries (And 8,000 others!):

General Motors CEO Mary Barra was interviewed Friday morning on Good Morning America from the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green.

~5/13/26~ Fed Ex delivered my 2026 ZR1X Corvette vin 00010 speed shape today. I still think the coolest one of them all is my 2025 Eray speed shape. Nice token gifts that GM sends out to the first owner of their C8.
~James H. of Daleville, Alabama got on my Eray order list and was so glad he did as this was one of the last 2026 Eray’s produced. James has a beautiful White C3 and he can’t wait to park his new Arctic White 2026 Eray Corvette Coupe in his garage next to it. James finished the paperwork via Fed Ex and the new Eray will get enclose trailered by Plycar trucking from Criswell Chevrolet in Maryland to James home in Alabama. James Corvette Eray basically has every box checked for nearly every option. The dipped Adrenaline Red interior looks dynamite with Arctic White paint…and the 655hp is pretty darn good too!
Not many nicer folks than James and he is ready to have two great looking Corvettes in his garage to choose from for his drives in the countryside.
~Tim M. of Olney, Maryland has bought several family vehicles from me and he always talks about his next car. Hence the reason I had a dozen clean up slips on his dashboard for all the dream cars he wanted! Today he took delivery of a new Lakeshore Blue metallic 2026 Traverse Z71 AWD SUV. His father in PA has bought 4 new Corvettes from me since 2014, his mother in law in PA has bought a used sedan from me, his wife has bought a few from me, heck even his twin sister in PA has bought a new Chevrolet from me. Now he needs to work on his brother! Seriously Tim has referred at least a dozen neighbors and friends to me over the past 15 years so I’m glad I was able to assist him once again on his own daily vehicle. Tim and I recently walked into the restaurant at the Golf Club and every single table was occupied by folks that have bought vehicles from me over the last few decades. Tim just shook his head in disbelief as I spoke to them all by name and remembered what vehicle they had bought.
~Terry S. of Darnestown, Maryland only lives 10 minutes away and has been buying Corvettes and SUV’s from me for well over 20 years. He emailed me yesterday seeking a 2nd row bench seat Tahoe as he wanted to trade in the 153,000 mile 2015 Suburban that he purchased from me. He still has his C7 with only 2500 miles on it but that’s a keeper for him. I wrote him that I had three identical Tahoes as he wished, Black, Gray or White. He walked in today at Noon and picked the Black 2026 Tahoe 4WD LT. I got his Suburban appraised and took his new Tahoe for a full tank of gas and brought it to the on site car wash folks. In the meantime Terry finished up the paperwork/payment procedure and he was down the road smiling by 1:10pm today.
All of the above was accomplished as I was finishing up all my sold order 2027 Corvette orders with customers from all over the USA.
Terry was super appreciative of his short time in the dealership and no hassle approach to dealing with me here at Criswell of Gaithersburg, MD.
