The world will be watching tomorrow at 12:45 PM ET as the 2023 Corvette Z06 Indy 500 Pace Car leads the field of 33 IndyCar racers to the green flag as the 107th running of the Indianapolis 500 gets underway.
We’ve previously shared the official photos of the Indy 500 Pace Car as well as the announcement of Indiana Pacer’s Guard Tyrese Haliburton as the honorary pace car driver. We haven’t seen the car running on the track in any video yet, but GM’s Jim Campbell shared this video showing the the Z06 Convertible with its safety lights on and then we’re treated to a cold start and some revs of the 670-hp naturally aspirated LT6.
