Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.
Judging by these fantastic photos coming up, Mike must have been hugely busy this week to squeeze in all these deliveries in a single week, plus finding the time to run up to the Spring Carlisle show for the day. The new Corvettes in this delivery post are just gorgeous and their new owners are showing their excitement to be handed the keys to America’s Favorite Sports Car as well. ~Last Sunday I was invited out to Freeway Airport in Bowie, Maryland as the Annapolis Corvette Club had a great Corvette meet planned. Kim and Matt L. are the owners of the Airport and are also customers of mine at Criswell Chevrolet. They put together quite the event as they closed the airport down at 3pm and gave anyone and everyone a short 5 minute flight. Other activities included a really nice late lunch spread, pictures on the runway and a few spirited “launch mode” rides by those that owned Corvettes equipped with the launch mode capabilities. I had an incredible time catching up with the entire club as many of them have bought Corvettes from me the past 20+ years. Thanks again to Kim and Matt! I look forward to seeing Scott’s drone footage!
~1953 Corvette vin 0100 sold for $300,000 at the Spring Carlisle Auction. I took these pictures just before it crossed the auction block. ..and there is no truth to the rumor that I sold this 1953 brand new, just an urban myth!

~Saturday begins by pulling my cleaned morning deliveries down from clean up into staging area.

Dan ordered a Red Mist 2023 Corvette Z51 coupe with Adrenaline Red/Black interior. Equipment list: 2LT, GT2 buckets, stealth interior, front lift, magnetic ride, edge red calipers, z51 and more.

~Marcus E. of Matthews, North Carolina special ordered his 2nd C8, this time he ordered a Rapid Blue 2023 Corvette Z51 Convertible with Adrenaline Red interior and Yellow seatbelts and yellow calipers. He didn’t order his 2021 coupe from me but was very happy to get this 2023 convertible from me.

My favorites are the black 72 LT-1 and the blue C3 with the custom hood right below it. I especially liked the two new Red Mist Z06s that were delivered this week. The owners of both of them checked off all the right boxes when they ordered them.
Uh, about that CBS News segment with Norah O’Donnell, there is another nameplate that has a timespan lengthier than the Corvette. It’s another Chevy. The Suburban was introduced in 1935.
Thanks for the Throw-back pictures. I really like the C2 Plexiglas hardtop, very cool. Or, very hot depending if you’re in the sun!!!!!
