Last April, we caught a video of NFL great and college football coach Deion Sanders and his son Shedeur doing some car shopping with Shedeur falling in love with a black C8 Corvette Stingray. We ran a poll on whether on not Deion should buy his college QB son a $120K Corvette and 55% of respondents said no.
We never learned if Shedeur actually got the Black C8 Corvette, and since that post, Coach Deion left Jackson State University to take the head coach positing at Colorado University.
Today we were cruising through Twitter and came across a video featuring Deion’s oldest son, Deion Sanders Jr, who does own a black C8 Corvette Stingray, and apparently the owner of the fashion brand “Well Off” was captured by Barstool Sports in the black Stingray that having some trouble tackling a snow-covered street.
I was good until I made it to that hill!!

Lol it’s gone be locked up in the garage for awhile. https://t.co/9Nf13A6q6y
Deion Jr. replied to the tweet, saying “I was good until I made it to that hill!! Lol it’s gone be locked up in the garage for awhile.”
True to his word, Deion Jr shared another tweet showing the black Corvette Stingray parked inside his garage:
Yup… my other car needs to hurry up & get here for days like this pic.twitter.com/VzbUDKU7Pf

I’m thinking that Deion Jr may be a candidate for the 2024 Corvette E-Ray as that eAWD and all-weather tires would have made a big difference, but until then…keep the Stingray in the garage!

He needs a winter rat!
He’s lucky he was slipping and sliding since he was running a red light. I guess if you’re real special, you don’t need to worry about no stinkin’ red light.
I don’t think he used weather mode or had the Michelin All Seasons. I bet if he did he wouldn’t have had a problem, especially with 60% of the weight over the rear wheels. I live in Connecticut and drive a 2002 C8 Stingray. Waiting for some snow to try it out. I drive my car almost every day. IMO this car is meant to be driven and not put away in the winter. I bought a second set of wheels with the Michelin All Season tire for street use and took off the Z51 Summer only tires and wheels to use for track days. Can imagine why anyone would not do the same. Also, I can’t imagine why anyone would order a C8 Stingray without Z51 and Mag Ride.
Correction. I drive 2022 C8 Stingray. Opps.
I think you mean the 2024 ERay with eAWD, not the Z06. Interesting article….thanks.
I think you mean e-ray, not z06
I feel for him poor kid, but of course he has to be prime jr
Z06 in 2024 with all wheel drive and electric motor? You mean the ERay, right?
I agree with you, Darrly. I drive my C8 all year long as well. And I also have Z51 with Mag Ride and why anybody wouldn’t get it is beyond me.
Michelin makes a Winter tire for the C8 that is really incredible. I live in Michigan and have yet to have ANY issues with snow or icy conditions.
