C8 Corvette owners already know what a fabulous car they’re driving.

Now, they’ve got even more proof in their wallets.

The 2023 Corvette finished first in J.D. Power’s rankings of the top Premium Midsize Sports Cars in Canada, winning the ALG Residual Value Award there for the second year in a row.

ALG – J.D. Power’s automotive residual value division – used artificial intelligence and advanced logarithms to analyze 272 model lines from the 2023 model year. Data like used-vehicle performance, brand outlook, and product competitiveness was analyzed across the automotive industry to select the 2023 Corvette and 14 others as the Residual Value Award leaders in their segments.

That means these vehicles are mostly likely to retain the highest resale value over the first three years for premium brands and the first four years for mass-market brands.

2023 proved to be a good year for other GM vehicles in Canada, too, with the Chevy Silverado 2500 HD, GMC Canyon, GMC Savana, Buick Envision, and Cadillac CT5 winning the Residual Value Awards in their respective segments.

Another recent bit of impressive news for the 2023 Corvette is its “recommended” rating from Consumer Reports, the first time the C8 has been so chosen. Consumer Reports gave high ratings to the Corvette
