[VIDEO] The 2023 Corvette Z06 Arrives at Spring Mountain

With the arrival of the new 2023 Corvette Z06, the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School at Spring Mountain is busy preparing for its Z06 Owners Class. A Secret Santa who is at the track this week sent us these first photos showing America’s newest super car dressed in the Ron Fellows Livery. Even better is a video we got from Mike Furman showing the car on the track.

We reached out to the Ron Fellows Driving School about the start of their Z06 Owners program and we are told they are hoping to get things going in the Spring of 2023 if not earlier. The owner’s class will fully explore the performance capabilities of the naturally-aspirated Z06 as registrants progress from car control excercises on the skid pad to the triple digit lead/follow sessions on one Spring Mountain’s world-class tracks.

When the C8 Corvette Stingray was first released, we had the privilege of visiting Spring Mountain as part of the media roll-out. Driving the mid-engine Corvette competitively is a real eye-opener for experiencing the capabilities of the car which can never really be fully explored on the street. It’s at the track that you can see and feel the Corvette in its natural environment. I will always remember that first time on the autocross course where it feels like you are literally rotating around the cones first with the car following behind you.
