[VIDEO] Enjoy a Cold Start from the 2023 Corvette Z06 to Kick-Off the Weekend


Here’s another helping of Chuck Valentini’s 2023 Corvette Z06 Coupe in Elkhart Lake Blue. A YouTuber named C8HIGHLTR captured the cold start of the fire-breathing LT6 as it barks to life.


As the paint manager at the Corvette Assembly Plant, Valentini enjoyed the week off during the plant’s annual summer shutdown with some vacation time spent in Ocean City, MD. The team is expected to restart the production line of 2023 Stingrays on Monday Morning.

  1. I’ve owned 3 Z06’s over the years, currently have a 2015. This is the worst f**king debut of a Z06 in history. WTH is going on? I’m a buyer, yet have no clue what is going on. GM is losing my last bit of confidence.

  2. Sid – I have to say that I am with you. I have a 2016 Z06 and a C8, and am on the list for a C8Z. The delays, constraints, and dangling of the carrot has just about gotten me over it all. For me, it’s almost as if the hype has worn out its welcome before the car ever even got onto the scene. Especially when you consider that there really aren’t any definitive numbers on price or performance.

  4. With all the BS hype and propaganda, maybe one of these years Chevy will release pricing so the dealers can start their ADM game and the flippers can make $50000+

  5. When it’s all said and done, this car will be out of reach for most honest hard working guys that the Corvette market was built on

  6. A sales manager told me this week that there are a lot of whispers about the transmission. And since there is an official GM investigation into the stingray tranny, this seems like a critical issue.

  7. Chuck is a great guy and took an hour to sit and talk with me when I got that clip. Awesome to see it in person!
