Seminars, Demos, and More at Next Week’s Bloomington Gold Corvette Show

The 2019 edition of the Bloomington Gold Corvette show is just one week away now. As show organizers are putting the lipstick and mascara on this year’s event were getting still more info on what’s in store for us attendees. We’ve already touched on the addition of Camaro’s, some of the special displays, as well as the iconic Corvettes that will be there. Now they’ve released the details on the seminars, demos, and installs that’ll be taking place next week at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Several Seminars will be held both Friday, June 21st and Saturday, June 22nd. Ken Lingenfelter will talk about beefing up your Corvette while Harlan Charles and Breann Voss will talk about how GM prepares to launch a new Corvette. Cameron Bower and Doug Hakala from Mobil 1 will review Corvette lubrication and Camaro engineers will discuss Camaro Performance over the years. Here’s the full seminar schedule:

Friday, June 21st:

• 10:00am: Faster is ALWAYS Better – Ken Lingenfelter
  
• 11:00am: Preparing for a New Generation Corvette: From Concept to Drive Ready by Harlan Charles, Camaro and Corvette Product Manager Breann Voss, Quality Engineer – Chassis (Bowling Green Assembly)
  
• 1:00pm: The Lubrication of Classic and Modern Corvettes: Myths and Legends Uncovered – Cameron Bower & Doug Hakala, Mobil 1
• 2:00pm Camaro Performance – Camaro Engineers

Saturday, June 22nd:

• 9:00am: Preparing for a New Generation Corvette: From Concept to Drive Ready by Harlan Charles, Camaro and Corvette Product Manager Breann Voss, Quality Engineer – Chassis (Bowling Green Assembly)
• 2:00pm Camaro Performance – Camaro Engineers

In addition, many show vendors will be demonstrating their products throughout the weekend. All formal demos will take place on Friday, June 21. Corsa Performance will be talking exhaust, PowerStop will cover braking options, Race Deck will cover shop flooring options, and Adam’s Polishes will discuss waxing vs ceramic coating. Here’s the demo schedule:

• 12:00pm: More Smiles per Gallon: Corsa Exhaust Demo by Corsa Performance
• 1:00pm: Why You Need More Stopping Power by PowerStop
• 2:00pm: Transform Your Garage Floor to a Showroom! by Race Deck

Finally, many more vendors will be performing actual product installs onsite as well. Corvette America will be installing accessories Thursday and Friday 9am – 3pm and again Saturday from 9am – noon. Mid America Motorworks is offering installs on select products and LEDs. Corsa Performance will be installing new exhausts throughout the weekend. PowerStop will be swapping new brakes, and XPEL will be installing their protective films as well. Adam’s Polishes will be detailing prescheduled attendees’ rides in their garage.

Bloomington Gold 2019 will take place Thursday, June 20th – Saturday, June 22nd at the world-famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indianapolis, Indiana. Single-day passes are $25, and 3-day passes are $60. All tickets include parking. Kids 12 and under are free.
