Paul has recently joined forces with Mid America Motorworks to produce a series of videos to give Corvette owners tips and tricks for keeping their Corvettes running trouble-free. The Michigan Mile was held over the weekend on an airport runway in Battle Creek. One of the participants was driving this Silver Corvette ZR1 and according to Jalopnik, after make a couple “ludicrously fast runs”, the driver did a burnout and apparently crashed into another vehicle.
Last weekend marked the 4th installment of Bloomington Gold’s Great Hall. The 4th class of honorees was one of the best yet. The Corvette inductees included the legendary 1963 Grand Sport, the first big block, and the mighty 2009 ZR-1. The people and organizations category featured the godfather of the Corvette, the founder of Carlisle Events, and the Flying Dentist among others.
Each year at Bloomington Gold there are several special groupings of Corvettes on display. This year we were especially looking forward to seeing the 2014 Corvette Stingray Pace Car from this year’s Indianapolis 500. Little did we know that the Pace Car Registry was assembling a collection of 1 example of every Corvette Pace Car that’s led the field at Indy.

Police are still investigating why the 63-year-old driver, of Oran, Mo., rammed into the back of a tractor-trailer at a traffic light on South Kingshighway near the Southern Expressway in Cape Girardeau, Mo., a police spokesman said.

The one-of-a-kind 2011 “Jake Edition” Corvette Grand Sport built for the 2010 SEMA show will be auctioned on Friday afternoon at the National Corvette Museum with proceeds going to the new NCM Motorsports Park. Tickets are just $20 and there are no limits on how many tickets will be sold.
If you’re a big fan of the Transformers Corvette Stingray Coupe revealed in Chicago back in 2009, we have some good news and some bad news for you.
