Back in June 2018, a friend named John Elegant who I casually knew from the NCM and the Corvette Forum sent an email to me about joining together to create a forum for C8 Corvette enthusiasts and month later the MidEngineCorvetteForum.com was launched! Today the website is an outstanding source of accurate, up-to-date C8 Corvette news, while also having the reputation as being the friendly forum with no BS, much to John’s credit.

Back in November 2019, we finally got instructions on how to fix those pesky C6 Corvettes with Navigation whose clocks suddenly quit displaying the time. That update came from our friend and Corvette service expert Paul Koerner who is a GM World Class Technician at Key Chevrolet in Middletown, CT.

Last weekend, we told you about a Black C7 Corvette Z06 that was stolen from a parking garage in San Ramon, California. The owner, Loraine Treadwell, says she woke up on Sunday morning to find an OnStar Theft Alert had been sent to her phone. She immediately went to the garage and found her car was missing, and it looked like the exit gate to the garage had been damaged during the getaway as well.

Last week we received word that Bloomington Gold was moving their 2020 Indianapolis event to September 11th and 12th due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Along with that news, they stated that the show would be moving to a new indoor venue. An announcement on that undisclosed location is imminent, but how about some conjecture and wild speculation in the meantime? Just think of this as our version of Fox’s The Masked Singer.
