Faith Hill's 1960 Corvette Offered for Sale This Weekend at the GAA Auction in Greensboro


Prince may have made “Little Red Corvettes” famous with his 1982 hit, but country artist Faith Hill could have done her share of crooning about Chevy’s legendary sports car, too.

For her 29th birthday on Sept. 21, 1996, her boyfriend and very-soon-to-be-husband Tim McGraw presented her with a nicely restored red-on-red 1960 Corvette convertible backstage at the Oregon Jamboree, a still-active country music and camping festival that began in 1992 as an economic development project for Sweet Home, Oregon.

Recently we shared the news that three current exterior colors for the 2021 Corvette will soon be retired. Those colors are Sebring Orange, Shadow Gray, and Zeus Bronze. The final order dates for the colors are rapidly approaching with Sebring Orange and Zeus Bronze available for order through April 29th while Shadow Gray fans have until May 27th to order the color.

Paying more than MSRP for a pre-owned Corvette is a controversial topic for sure as it generated over 14K reads and 23 comments, most of which were negative as was expected. Obviously, the topic is contrary to our previous mission statement that smart Corvette buyers shouldn’t pay more than MSRP for a Corvette, and especially one that is pre-owned.

According to GM Authority, the worldwide pandemic has led to a shortage of replacement rear tires for widebody versions of the C7, including the Grand Sport, Z06, and ZR1.
