[VIDEO] Grudge Rematch as Wheeler's ZR1 Tries Again to Down a Tuned Lambo Revuelto

It’s rematch time for Wheeler and his VIN 020 2025 Corvette ZR1 as they meet up with Brooks of Drag Times and a very fast Lamborghini Revuelto.

The last time these two super cars met was last July during a private track rental at Orlando’s Speed World, and as Brooks states, “It didn’t go too well.” He adds, “But now you’ve had a lot of seat time. Everyone says his car is broken and I repeatedly said it’s not broken. It’s all about weather, conditions, staging, launching, all these different things.”

Now they are back together at Bradenton Motorsports Park for a well-deserved grudge rematch. Wheeler has indeed become more familiarized with his car, and a warm up run earlier in the day proves it after he ran 9.4 seconds at 154 mph. The wing is off, and the car has a few mods that includes catless downpipes from Valtronic.

However, the Lamborghini also has some mods up its sleeve including a full exhaust system and a Gilanti tune which makes it one of the best sounding cars according to Brooks. The AWD Revuelto’s launch is simply crazy as well with the ability to go 0-60 mph in under two seconds, whereas the ZR1 makes up any lost time with its top end speed.

Brooks offered to take the right lane which he felt the prep wasn’t as great as the left lane, with the thinking that the Lambo would be able to compensate via its all-wheel drive. The two supercars would get three runs with the winner and loser separated by just 0.1 and 0.2 seconds. It essentially came down to reaction time, which is where Brook’s experience with the drag strip’s Christmas Tree shines through.
