[VIDEO] 2025 Corvette ZR1 Races the Lamborghini Revuelto in First Real Drag Race

We told you earlier this week that the new 2025 Corvette ZR1 owner named Wheeler would be hooking up with Brooks from DragTimes to race several exotics at the drag strip. That happened this week at the Orlando Speed World Drag Strip and the first video dropped today showcasing three races against the Lamborghini Revuelto.

The Revuelto was Lamborghini’s replacement for the Aventador and it’s their flagship sports car which features a big V12 and three electric motors that provides all-wheel drive. The Revuelto starts at $608K and 1,001 horsepower.

Wheeler opens the video with a quick intro and then we get right into the race action. First up is a test run with just the ZR1. It’s a hot day in Orlando with temps in the 90s, so the DA isn’t the greatest, but the ZR1 still manages to run a 9.98 second quarter mile at 142.46 MPH.

Now that the test is out of the way, Brooks lines up the Yellow Revuelto and the two cars launch for the first race. The ZR1 appears to have the better launch and the Revuelto never catches it. The times are 10.02 seconds at 142.29 MPH for the ZR1 while the Lambo ran 10.10 seconds at 143.41 MPH according to the Dragys in each car.

After changing lanes, it’s now the Revuelto’s moment to shine as Brooks gets the better launch with the AWD definitely helping the Italian sports car grip and go. However, both cars were faster than the initial run with times in nines. The ZR1 ran a 9.95 second quarter mile at 149.75 MPH while the Revuelto was just a hair quicker at 9.75 at 143.44 MPH

The third race will be the tie-breaker so check it out below. We learned that the next cars up to race the ZR1 include a Porsche 911 Turbo S, a Tesla Model S Plaid, and a McLaren 720S. Brooks also has a video up from his seat inside the Lamborghini so you can watch that here.

From Wheeler via YouTube:

Today, I drag race the new Lamborghini Revuelto in my 2025 C8 ZR1. Best of three races, lets see who comes out on top! Thank you to DragTimes for offering to bring up a handful of his cars to make this possible. Great guy, great channel.

  1. With the trap speeds, the Lamborghini seems to have more horsepower. Maybe it’s the heat but the ZR-1 lost.

  2. It seems like after the vette kicked the lambo button, the vette was told to pull back!!! Can’t let the best car built in America kick their butt!!! Right!!!???

  3. I’ve never liked this guy. He always rubs me the wrong way. I don’t like the implication that Hagerty’s result was staged and that the results he got is the truth. He’s raced several SF90s in that Revuelto on different days, and lost most of the time but not every time. Different days, different cars, and different drivers gets you different results, but nah to him it’s those other guys were lying and I’m the honest broker. Gimme a break.

  4. One thing Lamborghini and Ferrari can never do is make a mass production car with this level of performance and sell it for the same price as a Corvette. There isn’t much of a return on investment when you have to spend an extra $400,000 to beat a Corvette by a nose. Even that win was debatable due to driver variability. A C8 ZR1 is within my reach. Those exotics, not at all. Their price puts them in a different market segment. So race them for entertainment value, but win or lose the results don’t affect my buying decision. Why not run a drag race with a Mustang GTD against these exotics? Why is it that only Corvette is compared to them?
