While perusing Team Corvette’s fleet of new Grand Sports in the VIP parking area at Carlisle we immediately picked up on the wide variety of stripes and hash marks available on the newest C8 model. Black stripes, blue stripes, and we’re becoming quite smitten with the 2-tone asymmetrical stripes.
Over the years, stripes have become one of the simplest ways to make a Corvette your own. Heck, they’ve been on racecars for decades. With stripes on the brain, we found a seemingly endless selection of Corvettes on site with factory or aftermarket stripes applied.
When it comes to any modification or personalization of your Corvette, the possibilities are endless and we all know Corvette owners are the most creative folks out there. Some of our favorite stripe color combinations included silver stripes on a Roswell Green C8, orange stripes on a silver C7, and the classic white stripes on a Carlisle Blue C6.
Then there are more unique stripes like those seen on the black and white Motion-esque C3 and simpler version the white C3 in the 1976 50th anniversary display, and we can’t forget the OG hooding stinger on big block 1967’s.
Adding (or deleting stripes) on a Corvette is an easy way to give your ride an individualized visual impact. What are your thoughts on stripes on a Corvette? More is better? Less is more? Have stripes on your Corvette or spy a favorite in our gallery below? Let us know in the comments below.
