Our friend Mike Brink from the Brink of Speed YouTube channel found himself in Arizona for Saturday’s charity auction of the 2026 Corvette ZR1X Stars & Steel 1-of-1 in the Dark Satin Steel matte finish. The bespoke Corvette ZR1X sold for $2.6 Million with the proceeds going to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Winning this auction was Chevrolet dealer and NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick.

Mike is able to get all kinds of video to showcase this unique car as well as the upcoming Stars & Steel collection, of which 249 other examples will soon be available for ordering. When the wranglers come to get it from its display area, Mike is able to follow along to capture the seemingly tame sound of the 1,250-hp V8 as the car moves through the facility to the staging lanes.

We also get to see the car crossing the auction block from Mike’s perspective as well his reaction to the selling price of $2.6 Million.
