It’s now 2026 and General Motors is preparing to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States with a special edition for Corvettes and Chevy trucks called the Stars & Steel Collection.
While the Corvette Nation waits for more pricing and ordering information for these 250 limited Corvettes that are part of this collection, we do have something very special to share today. Chevy has posted the first pics of the unique 1 of 1 Corvette ZR1X wearing the Stars & Steel livery that will be sold for charity at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale later this month.
Chevrolet posted these photos of this special ZR1X to its Corvette Instagram page this afternoon and now we have some idea as to what makes it a 1-of-1 version of the Stars & Steel Collection.
Enthusiasts will have two choices for their Stars and Steel Corvettes – an Arctic White with Santorini Blue interior, or Black with Adrenaline Red. This 1-of-1 Corvette ZR1X that will be offered at Barrett-Jackson has a new special matte finish called Dark Satin Steel – not be confused with the Blade Silver Matte exteriors that will be going on the special edition Quail Silver Editions for the ZR1X later this year.
The special coupe also has the Carbon Fiber Aero Package and it’s also outfitted with visible Carbon Fiber wheels, Blue brake calipers, and it has the new Santorini Blue interior.
Within the photo deck is this pic showing the interior plaque that is displayed under the center-mounted speaker that sits between the driver and passenger. The plaque shows 1 of 1 and features a stylized American Flag that is next to “250” and then under that are the words, “Honor. Valor. Sacrifice.”
As this is a charity auction, the winner of the auction will write a check for 100% of the hammer price directly to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. The organization is dedicated to honoring the sacrifice of America’s military members and first responders by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star families and catastrophically injured veterans, while also working to combat veteran homelessness nationwide.
Barrett-Jackson will be offering this special Corvette at approximately 5:30 PM MST on Saturday, January 24, 2026. Join the live broadcast and watch as Chevrolet’s Vice President Scott Bell introduces this amazing hypercar.

Where’s Rick Hendrick?
I wish they would make actual silver Corvettes again.
Sure would be nice to see an actual bidding was between Mr. Hendrick and someone.
Right now, I’m embarrassed to have anything with an American flag on it.
Sounds like you live in the wrong country, Alan.
Never fought for it did you Alan Druxson?
Nam, Billy, while you weren’t even alive. Got drafted after graduation and losing my 2S. People got fragged for less than what some politicians are now doing. And my father killed Nazis when he served in WWII. Maybe you’re a Nazi, Billy, and that won’t end well for you. KMA, Billy, you twerp.
Yea I was alive Asslan. Try Khe Sanh 67/68, 2 Purples and a Bronze with Bravo 1/9 the “Walking Dead”. You know why we were known as the walking dead don’t you little man? Probably not, most all never in combat don’t know. Yea our government is inept, corrupt, and pretty useless, but still no reason to hate America and our flag. IPD nailed it little man,get a clue.
Back to the car. Simply beautiful. Flag and all.
Agree,yes it is.
Alan Druxson belongs to a tribe that very few of us salute…
Nice Vette and that ZR1X is the one Vette to have even though the C2s are my favorites. The American flag is just icing on the cake.
Dark Satin Steel and Santorini Blue make a VERY nice combo, but I’d pay extra to de-badge the “Tunnels to Towers” flag waving. Values matter; commemorative symbols far less so.
Hey, Eileen and Billy! Get your ass fucked, you Nazi bitches! You’re not American.
Way to verify your a low class, low IQ,loser dirtbag. Funny how you’re obsessed with Nazis. What tribe do you belong to sweet pea, certainly not an American with your cheap America hate and Nazi obsession. What combat did you see while serving for America? Girl Scouts don’t count little man….get a life loser. Small little loser that needs profanity to get off.
Bill and Alan, please find another venue for your hatefest.
Corvette spoken here; let politics be argued ELSEWHERE.
Eileen, Alan has a right to his opinion. Please don’t speak for anyone but yourself. This tribalism and stone throwing is killing America in many ways.
GKS,Politics had nothing to do with my comment to Alan, his hate for America and our flag didn’t sit well with me or Eileen. I bled for this country twice. Strange you didn’t mention Alan’s profanity on this site. I get your point, just not your reason…stone throwing?
Bill, you’re naive to think that both you and Alan aren’t having a political argument about patriotism and the grand meaning of America to its citizens today. You’ve both behaved badly in a CORVETTE forum. Both of you are veterans embarrassing yourself in public.
Move on and get a life GKS. Seems you just can’t let it go can you? What part of loving America and our flag do you find political? Stop with your stone throwing, and find another venue to amuse yourself.
