Forget the bubble wrap and velvet ropes — this 2015 Corvette Z06 has lived. With 96,000 miles on the clock, it’s not some pampered garage queen. It’s a 650-horsepower thrill machine that’s been doing exactly what it was built to do: devour pavement and make memories.
And now it’s up for grabs on Craigslist out of Milpitas, California, wearing Torch Red over Jet Black and asking just $50,900 — the lowest price we’ve seen for a C7 Z06 in ages.
But don’t mistake mileage for mediocrity. This isn’t a base model with bald tires and a prayer. It’s loaded with the 3LZ Premium Equipment Group ($8,650), the Z07 Ultimate Performance Package ($7,995), and a laundry list of high-dollar options:
• $2,995 carbon fiber package
• $1,995 Z06 chrome aluminum wheels
• $1,725 eight-speed automatic with paddle shifters
• $395 sueded microfiber seat inserts
Original MSRP? A whopping $105,050. Now? Half that. And the seller swears it’s “flawless,” backed by “tons of receipts” and documentation.
Sure, it’s creeping toward the century mark in mileage, but that just means it’s proven. The paint’s still intact, the engine hasn’t exploded, and the driver’s seat isn’t a crater. Compare that to low-mileage Z06s asking $87,995, and this starts to look like a performance bargain with a pedigree.
So the question is: Are you bold enough to bet on a Z06 that’s been driven like it was meant to be — and still has plenty of fight left?

Something fishy is going on here. This car doesn’t have chrome wheels as advertised. You can plainly see it has the factory standard finish wheels but even with that it’s still a steal at $50,900.
Not my cup of tea.
Caveat emptor (Let the buyer beware): C7 corvettes, especially ZO6 and Grand Sports, often have their wheels crack and/or warp, so severely that the cars weren’t safe to drive. The problem was so prevalent that Corvette owners filed two class-action lawsuits. Moreover, C7 Corvette ZO6s have other problems besides their wheel woes, though. Prolong spirted driving sessions ZO6 tend to overheat and go into limp mode. Eventually, the problem led to four more class-action lawsuits against GM. Many thanks, Ray
