Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

Happy New Year! Our first delivery post from Mike for 2026 is a banger as always! Mike puts the spotlight on a customer who picked up an in-stock 2026 Corvette Z06 from Criswell Chevrolet, and the guy looks vaugly familiar! Mike also has an outstanding collection of throwback and vintage photos for your to scroll through. As for my favorites, I have two: a black and white pic of the two 1967 Corvette Convertibles on what looks to be a parade route, and the facial expression on the young new bride driving off in a Red C3 gave me a chuckle. ~1962 Riverside GP

“The first three Z06 Stingrays ever produced are lined up side by side and ready to do battle with the mighty Shelby Cobra. This was the first outing for both sports cars. Stingray #614 was driven by Bob Bondurant, #00 by Dave MacDonald and #8 by Jerry Grant. The red Cobra was driven by Billy Krause. To the left of the Cobra is Jay Hills’ Porsche & Bruce McLaren’s Sunbeam. I believe #66 is Ed Mackey’s Lotus. Drivers meeting prior to LeMans style start. Amazingly both MacDonald & Krause retired due to a rear wheel falling off. Doug Hooper was race winner.”

~Ken F. of Frederick, Maryland has been buying Corvettes from me for 15 plus years and from the first day we met I said he was the twin to James Taylor (American singer-songwriter and guitarist. ) I always say everyone has a doppelgänger and Ken and Jim could be twins, only 4 years in age difference. Ken has been to my Spring Mountain Corvette experience several times and plans on joining me in 90 days when I’m back in Pahrump, Nevada. Ken finished up his military time in 1974 and purchased a 1 yr old Orange 1973 Corvette that he still owns and it’s in mint shape.

Today Ken traded his Red Mist 2024 Z06 Coupe for a stock unit, A Riptide Blue 2026 Z06 convertible with Sky cool gray/black two tone interior. Equipment: 2LZ, GT2 buckets, front lift, 10 spoke polished wheels and microfiber inserts and steering wheel. Ken just emailed me a quick note after arriving home with his new Z06…

  1. My favorite is the chick with the low cut halter top standing next to the sleek black 66 Corvette.

  2. I like the Jazzy lady showing off her attribute’s standing by the C2 also, I like the the C1 with the lighthouse in the background, I like the many C1’s showing off the wire mesh headlight protectors & there are lots of C1 & C2’s displaying their different Fuel Injection emblems which sets them off as being so special.

  3. Interesting looking at the photo of the ’65 convertible in 2 pieces. Proportionally, would that be 6-7……….;o}

  4. My favorite is the Felix Chevrolet sign! What a classic! I also like the blonde in the red 82 Corvette. Tell me those two guys did not haul that canoe on top of the C4 Corvette?!
