[VIDEO] 2025 Corvette ZR1 Goes Full Send on Tail of the Dragon

This is probably one of the best produced videos I have seen for a Corvette on the Tail of the Dragon, and we’ve shared more than a few. Most recently it was the 2026 ZR1X engineers making their way across U.S. Route 129, but now we got a customer-owned 2025 ZR1 doing its thing on the Dragon…and doing it very well we might add.

The video comes from a new YouTube channel called Chasing Curves. I already hit the subscribe button as this ZR1 video absolutely slays the Dragon with its 1,064 horsepower carving its way across the mountain.

The description on the Chasing Curves YT page says they make “cinematic driving films that put you in the driver seat of beautifully engineered cars,” and that’s exactly what you get from the start. This custom camouflaged wrapped ZR1 offers a couple massive donuts before launching onto the dragon. Multiple camera angles and even some drone shots makes it feel like you’re in the car. And then there is the soundtrack from that massive twin-turbo which is simply intoxicating.

Once the drive has been completed, stick around for a little photo shoot featuring some great looks at the new King of the Hill.

From Chasing Curves via YouTube:

We took a 1000hp twin turbo 2025 Corvette ZR1 to Tail of the Dragon, 318 curves in 11 miles. The sound of the turbos spooling through the mountains and the way this car tears into each corner makes the Dragon feel like it was built for it.

  1. Too bad that juvenile wrap makes it look like a POS! I don’t know why anyone would do that to such a great car.

  2. Great video, what a machine the ZR1is.!
I am hoping to get on that road some day even if
on vacation in my SUV and the Vette is home in the garage. 😃

  3. The Tennessee State Police are going to enjoy that video. Those donuts will end up being costly.
The Dragon is a great fun road to drive but it’s far too dangerous to turn it into a high performance driving event.

  4. The ZR1 is at this time the greatest PRODUCTION car ever made in America, setting track records wherever it goes and beating exotics that cost 2-15 times more money. Amazing car for the price of a boring and outdated looking Porsche 911 Turbo.
