Production of the 2026 Corvette model year has already started but so far Chevy has been tight-lipped with no news to share on when the 2026 Corvette ZR1X will be released. Despite lacking those pesky details, we can still enjoy the sight of them when it does make an appearance at select automotive events.

Check out this video which captured the Roswell Green ZR1X over the weekend at the Troy Traffic Jam Show in Troy Michigan.

The fastest American sports car at the Nürburgring just happened to be parked by a couple of Mustang GTDs…you know, the other American-made car that used to be the fastest Bald Eagle at the Green Hell, at least until the Bowties showed up and took the Number 5 and 7 spots on the all-time Nürburgring leader board.

This Roswell Green ZR1X with its carbon fiber wheels and distinctive yellow calipers was the same ZR1X show car we saw on display at the Corvette Assembly Plant’s reveal back in June. With the car parked outside and under the sun, the Roswell Green exterior and all that visible carbon fiber offers a fantastic supercar vibe.

Vehicle Chief Engineer Josh Holder and Nurburgring driver Drew Cattell were also on hand and reportedly gave a tech talk about the 1250-hp Corvette ZR1X. However, this walk-around video just focuses on the car with the cameraman expressing much admiration for the new Corvette even though he says he is a Shelby Mustang driver.

  1. The more I see of that color, the more I like it. Such insightful commentary from the filmmaker, too!

  2. That color does actually look really good! Yeah Mr. Obvious Shelby Mustang owner if it has an X on the side it is indeed a ZR1X.
