First Look at the Corvette ZR1's Owner Gift Pack

When you purchase a new C8 Corvette whether it’s a Stingray, E-Ray, Z06 or ZR1, you’ll also get a free gift from Chevrolet as a thank you! Usually within a few months after taking delivery (and sometimes longer!), you’ll get a box from Chevrolet’s fulfillment center with a C8 Speed Shape model featuring a model in your color and a plaque with your car’s VIN. Chevrolet has been offering these models beginning with the first C8s in 2020, and they have gotten progressively better with each new model released.


Our friend Rick ‘Corvette’ Conti just had a customer take delivery of his 2025 Corvette ZR1, and now we are learning that those lucky customers who were able to purchase a new ZR1 Corvette will receive an expanded gift items from which you can choose.

As mentioned, buyers of the new ZR1 will get their very own Speed Shape Model in the color of their cars, as well as the specific coupe or convertible body style. Rick jokes that the models are all low wing cars because the high wings are on constraint. But kidding aside, these are a great keepsake and many use them when displaying their cars at shows or in their office/man caves.

All ZR1 buyers will have a free opportunity to take part in the Ron Fellows Corvette ZR1 Driving School outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. The two-day driving school offer is good for one year from the purchase of your car and it includes a stay in their luxurious condos as well as meals. The school is normally discounted to $1,000 for other new Corvette owners, but GM has made the ZR1 class free and for good measure as the ZR1s have continued to get more powerful with each generation. Even if you have done a class before, a refresher course would be beneficial in a car like this.

Next up is really cool, because you’ll receive an email with a specific access code that allows you order “a complimentary premium gift” from the CorvetteOwnerGift.com website. Chevrolet has three curated gifts to choose from, and they include choice of a leather bag or zip-top tote, a golf travel collection, or a leather Corvette jacket with Piloti “Corvette” racing shoes.

Picking just one of these would be a hard choice. That golf package is pretty sweet, but I don’t play golf, so that would end up not being used often. A leather jacket in Florida would also be seldom worn, but the driving shoes look very cool. Which package would you choose if you’re a ZR1 buyer?

  1. Definitely jacket and shoes for me here in CT. Not a golfer and I have a matched luggage set made for the C8.

  2. I would choose the leather jacket and shoes even though it only really gets cool enough to wear the jacket in Dec and Jan where I live.

  4. Since all of these are a bit cliche, I would say that it would be nice to have an option for something like seat covers (car shows, gym use, etc), rubber floor mats, or trunk liners.

    Heck, the jacket/shoes, golf stuff, and bags are so cliche–they might as well toss in Corvette sunglasses, watch and cologne. Showoff stuff is for people who love prancing horses.
