The annual Corvette Order Guide is an indispensable document for new Corvette buyers provided by Chevrolet which lists all the standard and optional equipment, and it tells you what you can and cannot order together. With so many changes and the new Grand Sport coming for the 2027 model year, it’s one of the key elements we’ve been waiting for. Although Chevrolet told dealers last week that the new 2027 Corvette Order Guide would be available on Monday, it actually went live this weekend as was expected.

There’s a lot of info here, especially with four different models that include Stingray, Grand Sport, Z06, and ZR1/ZR1X. One model not listed yet was the Grand Sport X which we assume Chevrolet will treat similarly to the ZR1/ZR1X family. Chevrolet did say that the GSX was being pushed back with production starting in third quarter which explains its absence in this download.

I went through the 2027 Corvette Order Guide and pulled out everything that has a “NEW!” next to it and it gave us a nice snapshot of the new standard and optional equipment GM is offering with the upcoming model year. However, not everything is technically new, but it’s new to this model year and how Chevy is coding some of the new options. For example, Stingray and Grand Sport buyers can now order the optional WUB Quad Center Exhaust which is new. That code is also listed as new for the Z06 and ZR1/ZR1X but it’s a standard option for those models because they have always had it. It also appears that the Black tips are the standard for the Quad Center Exhaust, and you upgrade to the optional (NWI) Bright Exhaust tips.

Starting with the full 2027 C8 Corvette line-up, all models are getting a new standard “Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking” feature. According to Chevrolet, this new safety feature helps to avoid or reduce the severity of an intersection collection with a detected cross-traffic vehicle. It provides alerts and can even automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking.

All models are also getting two new exterior colors and one new interior color. The exterior color options are (GEC) Pitch Gray Metallic and (GTR) Admiral Blue Metallic. For the interior, buyers can select the new (HAG) Asymmetrical Santorini Blue/Jet Black interior which is similar to the Asymmetrical Red/Black interior introduced in 2026. There is also a special racing stripe called (DUE) Asymmetrical Santorini Blue/Carbon Flash Full Length Dual Racing Stripes which can be added to any exterior color except Admiral Blue.

The LS6 is featured prominently as its the new engine for both the Stingray and Grand Sport. There are three optional engine covers so our thought that Black would be the default cover for Coupes was correct. The optional engine cover colors are Blue, Edge Red, and Sterling Silver painted. With the LS6 comes an update with a new (M1N) transmission listed. This new DCT is standard for all Grand Sports and it replaces the previous Stingray transmission when the Z51 Performance Package is selected.
