Spotting the 2019 Corvette ZR1 convertible stolen Thursday in Canada shouldn’t be too hard.
Especially since the splashy Sebring Orange Tintcoat car is believed to be one of only three ZR1s in Canada. Until the 2025 1,064-horsepower ZR1s begin hitting the road next year, the 755-horsepower, one-year-only sports car remains the most powerful production Corvette of all time.
Niagara Regional Police say the Corvette was apparently stolen from a collector in rural Grimsby between 2 and 2:30 a.m. August 15.
Unfortunately, the thieves have a big head start as the crime was apparently discovered much later. Police were called to the scene at Mountain Road and Elm Tree Road West about 6:30 p.m. that day.
Authorities say they have no suspects and are asking the public for help. If you have information, call 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009747. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or CrimeStoppersNiagara.ca.

This really sucks for the owner of this rare hot looking ZR1. Sure hope he can somehow get it back intact and undamaged.
The owner was a collector, but he just left it outside and what? Went to bed? I have a lowly 505 hp Z06 that’s never out of my sight when I’m out. At home if you want my car, you need to get past my fence, my dog, my locked garage, my alarm system, my 9mm, and my bad attitude having been woke up in the middle of the night. Go ahead, make my day.
