[VIDEO] Speeders in Ontario, Beware! There's a New Sheriff in Town

Not sure sheriff is the right word for a Canadian LEO, but it works for me.

We already have been through 100 different emotions since we first saw these photos posted by Mike Furman in his Sunday Delivery Dispatch. “Are they crazy,” we asked ourselves and then wondered if this was a vehicle forfeit, was tax money used, what about that winter weather?

Lucky for those Ontario drivers who are notoriously heavy on the accelerator, this 2023 Corvette Z06 police car won’t be out engaging members of the public in high-speed pursuits, and instead it is part of a several month promotional campaign for recruiting purposes based on the video we saw posted from the OPP.

The OPP Corvette Z06 will be on display part of the 2023 Canadian Auto Show that runs February 17-26th at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.

  2. If this car was put into service, it would be scary to see it in your rear view mirror if you were speeding or doing something stupid behind the wheel.

  3. We can’t get the car here in the states yet GM is selling to a foreign country they should supply all here before delivering any where else. Yeah yeah I know I’m just pissed I can’t get mine and I’m less then #15 on my dealers list actually #12

  4. Talk about wasting Ontario Tax payers Money? The police can only legally chase people at a fraction of what this car is capable of?? This is just another example of the Ford government wasting the provincial tax payers money foolishly!

  5. Fuck I’m scared now to driving my ZL11LE 10 Speed or ZR1 C7 Corvette Lamborghini McLaren Porsche Ferrari Goofy’s already crying 😂. The Z06 is ready for bthe biggest show.
