If being the only kid on the block to have a car like this is your goal, you could get pretty close with this 2003 Corvette Guldstrand 50th Anniversary Z06 up for sale by a Florida dealer.
Legendary hot-rodder and Corvette tuner Dick Guldstrand produced only three of these Guldstrand Signature Edition Corvettes in honor of the model’s 50th anniversary.
As Corvette celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, this golden anniversary car is now being offered for $88,000 by Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa, Florida.
When he was making his tribute to the Corvette’s 50th birthday, Guldstrand made sure the car’s performance was above reproach, upgrading a bespoke Katech 427 LS6 V8 engine with forged internals, ported and polished Z06 heads, custom camshaft, and revised fuel and ECU tuning, and topped it off with a mean-sounding custom Flowmaster exhaust.
That 7-liter engine wound up producing more than 500 horsepower, capable of 0 to 60 times below 4 seconds and quarter-mile times of 11 seconds.
But a special edition Corvette also has to look the part, too, so Guldstrand used a gold paint scheme with blue accents and completed the picture with custom gold 18-inch and 19-inch staggered wheels. The interior is just as crazy with tan and blue wrapped leather and Alcantara leather, with Guldstrand’s autograph stitched into the seats.
You can see this three-of-a-kind Corvette tribute in person at 361 30th Street NE in Ruskin, Florida.

Looks like a Corvette must have mated to a 1980s want to be muscle car. Yuck
obvious different shade of gold between the hood & frt. bumper?
