Ticket Sales for Touring the NCM’s New Collections Facility Will Go On Sale Starting December 1st.

The National Corvette Museum offered a status update on the new 66,000 square-foot Collections Facility opening on the NCM Campus in 2027.

Tickets to tour the new Collections Facility will be made available on December 1st with the first public tours beginning on January 13, 2027. Tours of the Collections Facility are guided by NCM Staff & volunteers, and each ticket also includes self-guided admission to the National Corvette Museum.

The guided tours of the Collections Facility will offer visitors a behind-the-scenes look at how the Museum preserves and cares for vehicles in the collection. The tour will take visitors through vehicle preservation and restoration spaces while offering the opportunity to see Corvettes from every generation, including significant vehicles that are rarely on public display.

The experience offers a closer look at the NCM’s full collection of Corvettes. Along the way, guests will encounter selections from the Museum’s thousands of Corvette artifacts, providing a deeper look at the people, engineering, stories, and history that have shaped America’s Sports Car. The Collections Facility gives visitors the opportunity to see the work that happens beyond the Museum galleries and better understand how vehicles and artifacts are preserved for future generations.

“From day one, this expansion project is about creating a sustainable future for preserving the full story of Corvette,” said Bryce Burklow, President and CEO of the National Corvette Museum. “We’re safeguarding our collection to protect and celebrate the design breakthroughs, engineering milestones, and incredible donor stories that make Corvette an icon and the National Corvette Museum home to Corvette history. And soon, our guests will be able to experience that process in a whole new way.”

The NCM notes in the official press release that all tickets must be purchased in advance at corvettemuseum.org as tickets will not be sold at the Collections Facility. Tickets prices are currently being finalized and will be announced on December 1st. Members of the National Corvette Museum will also have to pay for guided Collections Facility Tours, however a representative told us that members can expect a discounted rate like the 30% savings that are provided with Plant Tours tickets.

Members of the National Corvette Museum will also be able to explore the collection through the NCM’s new Member Portal which now features all the Corvettes in the Museum’s collection. Discover your favorite vehicles in the collection and read their stories.
