Chris Brown Treats His Mom to a Custom C7 Corvette Convertible for Mother's Day

Singer Chris Brown once teamed up with Drake on a big hit called “No Guidance.”

Apparently, that song title doesn’t reflect the upbringing the popular 33-year-old artist received from his mother as he was growing up, however.

He recently gifted his mom, Joyce Hawkins, with a customized C7 Corvette convertible, complete with bright green paint and a black soft top, not to mention black Forgiato wheels.

Joyce shared the gift with the world on her social media on Monday, the day after Mother’s Day, letting everyone see “a Mother’s Day gift just for me!”

She continued: “Thank you so much CB!! I appreciate everything you do for me but most of all I’m so proud to be your mom!”

The car appears to be the same green C7 Corvette as featured on CorvetteBlogger in 2017 when he picked up the car from JC Customz in Bellflower, CA. We believe it to be a customized base model that would pump out 460 horsepower from its stock 6.2-liter V8 engine, unless it’s been upgraded like the exterior. Outside, you’ll find Z06/Grand Sport brake duct vents just in front of the rear tires, along with custom side panels that are similar to a shortened version of the C5 body moldings.

Likewise, we aren’t shown any photos of the interior, so we don’t know if there are further modifications there.

Another red C7 Stingray is in the background – no word on the owner of that one!
