  1. As a retired Principle Scientist, i can attest Laura sounded accomplished in technicality of race cars, and administrative side of racing. Hopefully she can Grow out of the shadows of the paddock to be more Entertaining for the brands she represents.

Doug was a Master showman, thought provocative in your face brand Criticiser and strategist. He also knew how to present his Gladiators behind the wheels as far as telling their resumes. Often he boasted about having the Best pit crews in GT racing where races where Won. For Endurance racing, to be Named the Spirit of Lemans his the highest Honor Doug ever received.

In restropect, Doug did not care for prototype racing because it represented the least value to a Brand. iT was not Silouette Racing to vehicles which could be Owned and driven on the street. Hence my hypothesis the (one) reason why Doug was let go in the admin restructuring.

Segway to silouette Supercars, the C8 is too compromised aerodynamically. It is Just a re-shiselled brick with a Huge ass. Its ironic that The 2012 Corvette DP was a stunning success in all possible ways (with GM’s blessing). Nothing of this Potential Hypercar was carried over to the C8 aside from engine placement. Hopefully the C9 will be a street version of this DP Corvette which could Rivalled hypercars from McLaren, Paggani, Ferrari, etc….
