Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

Welcome to this holiday edition of the Corvette Delivery Dispatch. We think that any day is a great day to take delivery of a new Corvette, but it seems even more special during the holidays. In today’s blog post, Mike shares photos of his happy customers taking delivery of their 2020 and 2021 Corvettes and you’ll be singing hallelujah by the time you hit the barn finds and vintage pics section. ~So many 8th generation Corvette choices. Coupe vs Convt, Colors, packages, wheels, accessories etc…The only decision off the board is stick but there is no wrong decision on how to equip your new C8 order. Build as you like and be happy. Plenty of opinions out there but the only one that matters is your own…or you and your spouse/partner.

As far as the future product is concerned…*I spent every Summer with Zora Duntov from 1978-1990 and his favorite remark to me when I brought up future product was "Rumors sell magazines, not cars" I often listened as he talked and it was wise to do so and time well spent. I will never forget the very first time that Gary Konner told me that Zora Duntov will be visiting the dealership. I believe I have surprised the Konner family how much I really was absorbing during my decade+ working for the family business 40+ years ago. I thank Gary all the time. They gave me a Corvette Ph.D.

~Robert K. of Allen Park, Michigan ordered a Black 2020 Corvette Z51 Coupe with Black GT1 seats. We completed the paperwork /payment process via Fed Ex and Plycar Trucking delivered his new Corvette the 490 miles via enclosed trailer delivery to his home. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, front lift, magnetic ride, spectra gray wheels, Z51 pkg. The Black C8 looks really good next to Robert’s Black C1 in his garage. Robert was fortunate in his timing as I had so many Plycar trucks delivering all over the US that his new Corvette was able to ship out right after paperwork/ payment was completed. In his own words…”Good morning Mike, thank you for all your help getting this car. (And I assume presetting some of the features). It is truly amazing. Got to drive 50 miles yesterday. I am enclosing a few pics (even one for your throwback section) and the best Xmas light show ever! Hope you have a safe and happy holiday.”

~Kevin C. of Nottingham, Marylandfactory ordered a stunning Corvette, his 6th!. Rapid Blue with Black interior and Yellow stitching with yellow seat belts is a dynamite combo especially with yellow calipers and the 5 trident spoke black wheels. Kevin’s son Drew took the ride this week and even got first dibs for the trek home in the new 2020 Corvette! Equipment list: 3LT pkg, Z51 pkg, visible cf roof, front lift, cf instrument trim, magnetic ride, visible cf grille, engine appearance pkg, and visible CF mirror caps.

~Ariel P. of Waldorf, Maryland factory ordered his very first Corvette…and what a beauty it is! Ceramic Matrix gray metallic 2020 Corvette Z51 coupe with Adrenaline Red interior. Fantastic choices from top to bottom. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, GT2 bucket seats, front lift, magnetic ride, bright red calipers, cf painted wheels, edge red engine cover, Z51 pkg, and Torch red seat belts. 60-mile ride home will be a breeze!

~Jeff and Sandy R. of King George, Virginia placed their order for an Elkhart Lake Blue 2020 Corvette Convertible with the Sky cool gray interior. I gave them a sight-unseen trade value on their 2016 Camaro SS Convt a few weeks ago and this week we swapped cars. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, GT2 buckets, chrome badges, front lift, magnetic ride, Z51 pkg, and more. Only 90 miles ride home and I’m sure they stretched their legs and took a long way home! Two super nice folks and this is their 4th Corvette.

~Wendell L. of Fairfield, Illinois is the proud new owner of a Torch Red 2020 Corvette Z51 convertible…Thanks to his daughter, and yes she wins the Corvette world daughter of the year award! Plycar trucking got it there this past weekend and just in time for the Holidays! Angela said her Father was thrilled and very emotional as it’s been 57 years since he bought his Red Corvette in 1963!

~Craig and Laura K. of Peoria, Arizona bought their 2014 Corvette from me, and this past Wednesday they added a new Sebring Orange 2020 Corvette to the garage. I had it drop-shipped for courtesy delivery at their local Chevrolet dealer in Phoenix. Equipment list: 3LT pkg, front lift, magnetic ride, Microfiber wheel, and seat inserts, cf painted mirrors/spoiler, engine appearance pkg, and Z51 pkg. In their own words…”Here are view pics of my car. Took delivery on Wednesday 23rd…It was 75 today in Phoenix! Took my new Christmas toy out for a little test drive !..Awesome.. Now tucked aside its garage mate that I bought from you 6 years ago…” Craig

~Thomas P. of Hanover, Maryland factory ordered a Torch Red 2020 Corvette Z51 convertible, and yesterday was delivery day. 11 am appt and he pulled out by 11:39 am! Equipment list: 3LT pkg, Cf painted top/nacelles, cf painted mirrors/spoiler, cf painted wheels. Two-tone red/ black interior, front lift, magnetic ride, composite rockers, red seat belts, and much more. This Corvette is a car show all on its own.

~Ron S. of Elk Grove, California factory ordered his new Rapid Blue Mid-engine Corvette to be drop-shipped for courtesy delivery at his local Chevrolet dealer in San Jose, California. Once he picked it up he had the high wing spoiler installed that he secured from the parts department. Equipment list: 1LT pkg, Z51 pkg, Sky cool gray GT1 seats, magnetic ride, cf wheels, and tension blue seat belts which matches the Rapid Blue paint perfectly.
